Solutions
Operators can now work safer with no pinched fingers

About the job

Problems
A company was using a manual dolly to pick up 200-kg drum containers, place them on the edges of a pallet, and adjusting the position by hand, and workers were at high risk of getting their fingers pinched in the process. The manual dolly they were using also had poor maneuverability, meaning that the process required a great deal of space and time to complete.
Solutions
We installed a Raku-Raku Hand that allowed operators to place the drum containers directly onto the pallets, greatly improving work efficiency.
The new system was also safer, since the risk of pinching was eliminated.
The Raku-Raku Hand’s fully pneumatic operation also meant that it could be used in explosion-proof areas.
