About the job

Problems
A company was reusing printing cylinders for gravure printing by re-plating, grinding, and reusing them once printing was finished. The vertically stacked printing cylinders needed to be laid flat before they could be placed in the grinder and later removed. Doing the job with a hoist not only made alignment difficult, it was also dangerous.
Solutions
After the Raku-Raku Hand was installed, operators are now able to easily rotate the cylinders and keep them flat. Alignment is also greatly simplified and the work is safer.
