Automobiles must be able to drive quickly, cruise slowly, handle inclines, and more—and the engine cannot do it alone. That is where the transmission comes in. AIKOKU ALPHA produces five hundred thousand automotive shafts each month (not including pinion shafts used in power steering), and our components are used in 90% of auto transmissions. The transmission is critical to vehicle operation, and must be assembled from durable, high-precision parts. Particularly as cars get more compact and closer to net shape (where the final product approximates the design), AIKOKU ALPHA shafts are perfectly suited to the challenge.

Transmission using a spline shaft from AIKOKU ALPHA
Products
-
Large, thin collared
involuted spline shaft -
・Attaching centering piece formed from the left and the right makes it unnecessary to center the shaft using a machining process.
・Multistage forming reduces cutting allowance on the outer diameter
Dimensions | 236 mm (length) × φ94 (outer diameter) |
---|---|
Ratio of minimum shaft diameter to the effective collar outer diameter | 4.44 |

- Hollow penetration shaft with small internal diameter
-
・Left-side spline pitch of 2.5 mm makes groove processing unnecessary for fitting
・Hollow φ12 diameter makes machining unnecessary
Dimensions | 271 mm (length) × φ45 (outer diameter) |
